OurSpace Community Standards and Participation Guidelines

Dear users, there are few simple guidelines we would like you to abide by.

  1. We welcome debate and dissent, but personal attacks (on authors, other users or any individual), will not be tolerated. We are on OurSpace in order to communicate.
    Don't Cross the Line!
  2. We encourage free speech and defend everyone's right to express unpopular points of view. But we don't permit hate speech! OurSpace moderators are aware of the fact that people often feel strongly and enthusiastic about issues debated on the platform, but they will consider removing any posting that they will find offensive or threatening that is to say posts which attack or demean a group based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, and sexual orientation/gender identity.
  3. We Review Posts Reported As Inappropriate: When a post gets reported as inappropriate, we review the post to determine whether it violates our Terms of Use—
  4. Be aware that you may be misunderstood, so try to be clear about what you are saying, and expect that people may understand your contribution differently than you intended.
  5. Remember that this platform is for you. In case you spot something problematic / offending in posting or discussions, please report it to the national moderators.

In short:

We ask you not to abuse the site.

Our effort will try to fight political apathy across the Continent. For that, we need to improve communication between the two sides (young EU citizens + politicians/decision makers).

We trust you to be responsible!
Please act with maturity and consideration for other users.

There's a lot going on and a lot of ways to participate here. Have fun with the site!
